Questions teachers and schools ask before they trust a new system.

26plain-language answers
What is Gurubotto?

Gurubotto is a daily teaching workflow for Indian teachers and schools. It connects lesson planning, what was actually taught, worksheets, tests, attendance, fees and school oversight so the next school day starts with useful context instead of a blank prompt.

Is Gurubotto just another AI chatbot?

No. A chatbot waits for a new prompt. Gurubotto keeps your class, subject, timetable, syllabus position and recorded progress together, then uses that context in the next workflow and in Ask Gurubotto.

Does tomorrow's plan change after today's class?

Yes. When a teacher ends class, they can record the lesson as completed, partially completed or skipped and add what actually happened. That record is used to adjust what should happen next instead of blindly repeating the old plan.

What if I teach more than the plan?

Record the topic or portion you actually reached when ending class. Gurubotto carries that progress forward, so the next workflow can continue from the new point rather than forcing you back to the original plan.

What if a difficult topic takes longer?

Mark the class partially completed and note where students struggled. Gurubotto keeps that context available for the next plan, revision work and follow-up questions. The teacher stays in control of the final pace.

How does Gurubotto calculate syllabus pace?

Gurubotto compares the remaining syllabus with the teaching calendar and the class timetable, then uses recorded completion to suggest what should happen next. Holidays, exam periods and timetable changes matter because calendar days are not all teachable days.

Can a teacher override the suggested pace?

Yes. Gurubotto recommends; the teacher decides. A teacher can record a different stopping point, mark work partial or skipped and change the next action when classroom reality differs from the recommendation.

What happens if yesterday's class was not recorded?

Gurubotto should not invent progress. The workflow can continue from the most recent confirmed record and surface the missing update so the teacher can correct it.

Can it make a lesson plan, worksheet and question paper?

Yes. Gurubotto can generate lesson plans, worksheets, homework, class tests, question papers with answer keys, teacher-diary entries and classroom presentations from the class context you choose.

Can I make a class test from the last week of teaching?

Yes. Because completed lessons are recorded, a teacher can ask Gurubotto to prepare a test from the topics taught during a recent period, review the scope and then export the result.

Is Ask Gurubotto connected to the daily workflow?

Yes. Ask Gurubotto can use the teacher's classes and recorded teaching context, so requests such as making tomorrow easier or testing recently taught topics do not have to start from zero.

Which file formats can teachers export?

The supported workflow includes classroom-ready PDF and Word exports, PowerPoint presentations and spreadsheet exports for operational records. Available formats depend on the item being created.

Does it work in Hindi?

English and Hindi are supported in the core teaching flow. Teachers should still review generated classroom material before using or sharing it.

Can teachers edit generated material?

Yes. Generated lesson plans, worksheets, tests and other material are drafts for the teacher to review and refine before saving, exporting or sharing.

Does Gurubotto work on a phone?

Yes. The core teacher workflow is designed to work in a mobile browser, including opening today's class, recording progress and creating common teaching materials.

Does Gurubotto support CBSE, NCERT and state boards?

Gurubotto supports CBSE and NCERT-aligned teaching paths and selected state-board paths, including MP Board. Coverage depth varies by board, class and subject, and the product should label generated practice honestly when an exact source reference has not been verified.

Does Gurubotto guarantee that every generated answer is correct?

No responsible AI tool can make that guarantee. Gurubotto is designed to ground work in saved class context and supported curriculum references, but the teacher remains the final reviewer before classroom use.

What can a principal see?

The principal command centre can show recorded syllabus pace, classes that need attention, attendance, fees and follow-up signals. It is designed for support and timely action, not a public ranking of teachers.

Are attendance and fee records saved?

Yes. Attendance and fee records are stored as operational records and can be viewed and exported by the authorised school users. Schools should still follow their own verification and data-governance practices.

How does Gurubotto protect school and student records?

School records are isolated by role and school membership so authorised teachers and administrators only see the data needed for their work. Parent messages remain drafts until a person reviews and sends them, and schools should continue following their own consent, retention and data-governance policies.

Can a school try Gurubotto before rollout?

Yes. A school can create an admin account and use the available trial, or contact Gurubotto on WhatsApp for a guided demonstration and founder-led onboarding.

Can school leaders use Ask Gurubotto?

Yes. Authorised admins can ask school-level questions using the academic and operational records available to their role, such as what is being taught, where follow-up is needed and which records are incomplete.

Does Gurubotto replace every school ERP?

Not automatically. Gurubotto connects the daily academic workflow with practical records such as attendance and fees, but schools should compare their required admissions, payroll, transport and compliance modules before replacing an existing ERP.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. The current offer is a seven-day trial without a card. Current prices and plan limits are shown on the pricing section before signup.

Can an individual teacher sign up without a school?

Yes. A teacher can create a private workspace independently and can join a school later using the school's invitation code.

How do school plans work?

Schools choose a monthly tier with a stated number of teacher places. If a school moves to a higher tier, the current product policy charges the difference between tiers rather than the full higher-tier amount again.

The next school day is coming anyway.

Let it arrive with a memory.

Start with one teacher, one class and one honest “End Class” update. Tomorrow will already be different.
